Frisco Draw Partners, LLC was founded in 2015 by Isaac Isom and Mike Ross, creating one of the only farmland investment firms focused on the Southern Great Plains of the U.S. This region is a producer of all major row crops in the U.S. including corn, cotton, wheat, sorghum, alfalfa and soybeans. As one of the most productive and scaleable agri-ecosystems in the U.S., this region produces almost 5% of the world’s cotton and is one of the largest producers of beef, dairy and pork in the world.

Frisco Draw seeks to provide capital to growing, progressive farm operators by investing in farmland and ag-related assets. As the supply chains for our food and fiber become more dynamic and vertically integrated, the demand from consumers for a more sustainable industry with traceability from farm to fork will require both capital and strategic vision. Frisco Draw’s mission is to be the capital partner for those industry players at the forefront of these revolutionizing trends.

ISAAC ISOM
FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER
Mr. Isom leads the firm’s investment activities including farmland acquisition and management. Prior to co-founding Frisco Draw, Mr. Isom sourced, executed and managed private equity investments across many industries including timberland and energy for Hoak & Co. Earlier in his career, Mr. Isom was an equity analyst for Perennial Advisors, corporate credit analyst for Frost Bank, and an investment banking analyst for Lehman Brothers in New York. Mr. Isom holds a BBA in Finance with Highest Honors from Texas Tech University. He was born and raised on his family’s fifth generation cotton farm near Idalou, TX and currently resides in Dallas with his wife and children.
MIKE ROSS
FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER
Mr. Ross is responsible for investment management and operations including finance, legal and accounting. Prior to co-founding Frisco Draw, Mr. Ross served in various investment and operational roles with energy-focused private equity firm Quantum Energy Partners and its affiliate Quantum Resources. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ross was a financial analyst for McKesson Corporation in San Francisco and an investment banking analyst with Wachovia Securities. Mr. Ross holds a B.S. in Finance from Tulane University and an MBA from the University of Denver. He currently resides in Austin, Texas with his wife and children.
